FPGA digital electronics training

This training allows the learner to achieve the following objectives:

Understand hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog)
Understand the relevance of the FPGA in an industrial context
Carry out usual logic functions (counters, CCD management, etc.)
Create logic functions for video processing
Establish a validation plan for the functions performed

In addition, the training allows learners to be autonomous on FPGA design topics.

Our training is aimed at engineers or technicians wishing to acquire skills in digital circuit design.
No prerequisites, however, basic programming and knowledge of general electronics make the training more comfortable for the learner.

The educational program is described below, it is designed so that the learners' journey is guided by a “red thread”. Participants will be encouraged to reuse the technical elements they produce as they progress, starting from the simplest element to the implementation of a complex architecture.

A theoretical course takes place at the start of the training in order to raise the promotion's awareness of low-level calculation. Once this review of the fundamentals has been completed, learners will be required to study their first circuits initially, combinatorial and then with synchronization.

The rest of the program continues with a study of a silicon FPGA so that learners are fully aware of the notions of microelectronics, this will subsequently allow them to understand the link they will make between their HDL description and the hardware. The different concepts are presented through a theoretical course supplemented with exercises and tutorials.
The course concludes with a presentation of FPGA use cases by industry segment and the technologies used for their creation.

Training can be provided remotely. The laboratory equipment necessary for the training is loaned during the training (excluding PC)
